Business Development Manager
The key purpose of this role is to gain new business, growing our total customer base and increasing overall drinks throughputs in your territory. This requires a passion to drive new customer acquisition, sourcing opportunities through door knocking and cold calling to get appointments with Decision Makers, then via a consultative approach selling in our offering.
The successful candidate must be driven and tenacious with a strong work ethic and have the ability to manage both a long- and short-term pipeline. Being well organized and having the ability to plan and prepare strategically is crucial to success.
In brief, you will be responsible for;
Increasing drinks MAT and NSV year on year through effective new client acquisition
Targeted Cold Calling Activity
Maximizing client relationships and gaining referral/recommendation opportunities
Lead sharing activity
Maximize Inbound and telesales leads to ensure target conversion levels are met
Developing and Managing a varied pipeline of Prospect contract negotiations
New Business contract opportunities
Short term (inbound) conversion opportunities
Prospect product trials
Approaching work in a strategic and organized way
Ensure adherence to company contact strategy with prospects
Update accurately of all relevant information on the system
Record notes of all customer contacts to ensure consistent and quality communication with the client.
Being well organized and with a structured plan to ensure each day
Skills & Experience
Minimum GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent
‘A’ level or degree level, or equivalent, desirable
Full and clean Driving License
Business to Business Selling Experience
Field Based Experience
